I ask myself all the time wtf do I want from this music shit?? 1️⃣ I want what I always had, the ability to speak my mind! The ability to write my pain away. The ability to speak my frustrations and hope someone else can relate. I heard too many artists discuss losing what they once had all for the sake of the business. 2️⃣ Yes, this is a business so therefore I plan on making a profit. I like some material things but half of it is a wash. I believe we can do real impactful change in this world with money than just buying shit. It cost money to build schools and hospitals. It cost money to feed the Poor. 3️⃣ Do I want those who I have admired to admire my work? Yes and I don’t care to be honest. I think it’s kool and certainly everyone wants that but everyone is just human and flawed on so many levels. I am truly grateful for those who already appreciate my work. 4️⃣ I want to inspire kids from the same town I was born in and show them it’s possible. This sounds so cliche but I was born in Ado-Ekiti in a small neighborhood where till this day Opportunities are skim and quality of life can very well still improve. I want to shine a light on my city. Understanding the entertainment industry has legs and directly impacts economies and other industries. I definitely want to grow my City’s economy. 5️⃣ I want to grow in music and other industries, in creating, creativity, expressing and delivering better product. This is so fun for me. This provides me the adventure that guarantees that I always feel alive and never waste a moment. I believe this is my journey.
